Longer Trailer! on Youtube

IMDB page is here!!

It's been a while and maybe getting close to Christmas but is is going very well indeed with London Express.

We are currently in the running for 5 film festivals, we have an IMDB page and a new trailer to boot.

I must say the new trailer isn't the highest quality ever produced but it certainly gives more of the clues to those who might want to check it out.

I will over the next two weeks go into a bit of film over drive as i try to re-promote the film over the web and prepare for the upcoming festivals.

Check it out!!!

First Showing

First showing off London Express was a private affair.

As the Director I sat there very nervously watching the reactions of others more than the film itself. Luckily large quantities of booze keep the viewers glazed enough not to notice the small mistakes that my film maker can't avoid. Everyone seemed happy with their performances and the resulting film on the whole.

With a few changes to be made . Mr Ramullins stand up! London Express will be fully ready for festival submission 1st week of september.

Finally a second trailer will be completed before the end of the month. Exciting!

Positive Feedback

I've almost made it to the crest of the hill. (That's how it feels)

The film will be fully put together a submitted very soon.

From the teaser trailer I have posted it on various forums and modified the first one from the feedback given to the current one. (except the sound is a bit loud)

So far it's been very positive, people who have no idea of what the film is about other than the brief synopsis seem quite excited.

One thing many have said is it look the real deal is a very ambitious project for the time it's taken.

The acting is top notch and the film has more than enough to make it a tight fast moving Short Feature Film.

Well done to everyone so far.

High Octane Adventure

The About us Page

What starts out a fun night quickly turns to disaster when the Groom is unwittingly kidnapped from his evening out with the boys by a sexy stranger. Now the Groom’s past dealings with his less than reputable pursuer Amber come back to haunt him. Forced to sign a contract with his unforgiving business partner he is left stranded in on the outskirts of Blackpool. With his wedding only a few hours away the Driver arrives but the day is not saved yet, as this is no simple collection. The journey home will establish the Grooms character as a changed man and solidify a past union that over time has turned sour. A film That keeps moving like a rollercoaster and will engross you until the end.

London Express - A showcase of the UK’s up and coming talent and a promotion of the independent underground movie making industry.

Scripted shot and cut by Richard-Lee Williams his first feature aims to make an instant impact with international festival and UK film industry crowds with a well crafted storyline combined with visuals to entertain a wide audience. ‘I want this project to showcase what can be done where passion out weighs money.’ Richard-Lee Williams.

The collaboration with Call Back Academy ‘s Alex Fidelski as producer and casting director bringing in wonderful new talent where all characters have their chance to shine and make their impact. ‘The energy and drive of those involved is clear to see in the finished project’

A film that attempts to light up our screens with the fast thrill ride of the Driver's and Groom's night.

Teaser - Disco Dan

Looks like everyone is getting into character fine!!!

Shooting Day 8 ( of maybe 10)

Red Lion Pub A big scene with some great performances by all once again. Alex took a few slaps and we had probably too much of a good time- 9.00 meet but we didn't actually start shooting til gone 10.00 note to self timing is important. we had more surprise extras than we could deal with. After all this a check on the dallies shows some really great footage.

Only a few scenes left but in the meantime I'll be working on getting a draft version on the film together to give an idea of time pacing and missing content.

So far so good......

Filming day 6 & 7 (of now 7+1 or 2)

Ok back in Windsor at All Saints Church I arrive 2 hours late sorry everyone my excuse is lame. Everyone looks fantastic and ready to roll even though the sun is shining it's one of the coldest days on record and the ladies are wearing short and skimpys. Much kudos to the girls for taking the big freeze so well, don't know how you done it... my hands could hardly press record. the wedding scene moved quickly on to the fight scene which was almost too much fun for Craig & Drew and the threw themselves recklessly around the fantastic petrol station location. It must have looked good because the law arrived saying that some reported two men on the floor out cold being left for the vultures. whoever reported it didn't fancy running in to or Alex obviously!

Next day in Bexleyheath for the club scene which worked very well thank to having lots of space and it being warm for once. Really good work from everyone today it couldn't gone better. Hot Amy in her bikini had the boys eating out of her hand Alex's stag party we almost too real and could just about keep their mouths shut when filming. Awesome moment of the night was Disco Dan getting thrown out a piece of footage i could watch over and over. all in all a good weeks work only two more key scenes to be captured before the edit can begin.

Filming day 3 & 4 ( of 7)

Back shooting more Wednesday night with back up from Andy Williams the camera man of note, cheers bruv. Working in an around Maidenhead and Windsor we got all we needed and successfully scared a few people along the way. Not sure of the people in pub no.1 but they they we're really scared to the point where we had to find a second location because they turned off all their lights inside and out before we returned (2 mins). I finally got my lines right and I'm still not sure if the bridge scene worked but we roll on.
Day four Thursday shooting up by canary wharf riverside Nicola came to collect a costume and freeze with us for a while (not fun) really acting because you would never know it's -2 when we are talking - OK maybe...still missing a little drive through footage of canary but all establishing shots have been sorted very nicely, up to the point when we filming in the rain.

Filming day 1 & 2 (of 7)

Thanks to the generosity of others we have a feature car for the movie. Cheers GW.

We started by getting some basic car footage of Driver leaving London on his way Blackpool exterior shots. We are facing light problems and issues but the cameraman and his night skills have made this mission possible. Driving roof down in the winter (-2) is one of the most foolish things I've ever done after two hours I couldn't feel my hands or feet.

Tuesday early afternoon we off up north to film Blackpool and in-car dialogue. We arrive in Blackpool to find more issues some including the tower lights are off, yes Blackpool tower lights are OFF! Then 98% of the illuminations are also off and oh yeah it's only 7 o'clock. The town seems to be on standby until the summer so no nee to wait until the middle of the night to do the deserted look of late night. Bit of an issue with road noise on the sound track switched to the wireless and the connector snapped off. Return visit to Blackpool or work around? Alex how about them roadworks?
